Type Locality and Naming

Along the Claudzin River, South-East Fergana. A.V. Sochava, 1963 (288, p.1148). Stratotype in the lower reaches of the Tar River. Lower formation in Changet Gr.

Synonym: Klaudzinskaya Suite, Клаудзинская св.


Lithology and Thickness

Red, pink, and gray sandstones with lenses and layers of clays and gravelites. Thickness 100-350m.

Lower contact

Lies conformably on the Khodzhaosman Fm

Upper contact

It is conformably overlain by the Tokubay Fm
